What are they? Thin, pre-taped strips of hair (about 1.5 inches wide) that are “sandwiched” around your natural hair. They stick flat against your scalp using professional-grade adhesive tape.

Why choose tape? They are the most comfortable, lie completely flat, and you can’t feel them. Reapplication is fast every 6–8 weeks.

Maintenance:

Lift & re-tape every 6–8 weeks as your hair grows.

Home Care:

Wash 2–3 times per week with sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoo.
Brush gently with a loop brush (never on wet hair).

2. Keratin Bond Extensions (Individual Strands)

Q: Can I colour or heat style my extensions?

A: Yes. Both Great Lengths and Jadore are 100% human Remy hair and can be curled, straightened, and even coloured (with professional guidance). We recommend using a heat protectant and staying below 190°C to prolong the hair's life.

Q: Can I swin, exercise, or use dry shampoo?

A: Absolutely. For swimming, wear a tight braid and rinse immediately after. For exercise, pull hair back gently. Dry shampoo is fine, just apply to your natural roots, not the bonds/tape/wefts. Always avoid oil-based products near attachment points.

Q: Which method is best for fine/thin hair?

A: Tape extensions or keratin bonds (using fewer strands) are best for fine hair. Tape lies flat and distributes weight evenly. Wefts require more natural hair to hide the attachment points, so they are not recommended for very thin hair.
